At Baroque Feathered Farm our mares are just as important in our breeding selection as our stallions. We pair up our horses for breeding to achieve optimal conformation, movement, and temperament in our foals.

Marie needs no big write up! This mare is famous and absolutely stunning. Marie is a BIG cobby mare, with a sweet head, and absolutely solid bone and loaded with feather. This mare is a daughter of the one and only Dunbrody. We are grateful to be able to call this mare ours and have her in our line-up!

Money Penny is a fabulous addition to our herd. She is already a hairy tank of a mare. She is as sweet as she is stunning, sporting a double mane and log thick silky feather. Penny's sire is the one and only SD 007! Penny is going well under saddle and has a very willing to please attitude. In her show career debut, she placed 1st or 2nd in every class she entered!

SD Trixie is another new fabulous addition to our herd. She is a hairy tank of a filly. She is as sweet as she is stunning, a beautiful bay pinto with a blue eye. Trixie's sire is the one and only SD Gambler and her imported dam SD Burmese Ruby is by SD Big Bucks and out of a SD Chief daughter! What a knock out combination, double Woolly bred. We are so excited to watch her mature. Be sure to look for this fine filly in the show ring!

Norah is registered with FHH and is 50% Friesian and 50% BLM Mustang. She exudes elegance and has the rich refined lofty movement of the Friesian. Norah is also dripping with hair, which she gets from her grandsire, Anne 340. She loves to please and is incredibly friendly and personable.  We expect amazing things from Norah in the dressage and working equitation world. Look for her in she show ring as she matures and her career progresses.

Nykke is a stunning Gypsian (Gypsy Friesian cross) mare. She is huge, standing at 15.3H and as wide as she is tall. Nykke has an adorable baby doll face and the build, looks, and movement of the old Baroque style Friesians. She has been started under saddle and has proven to be willing and sensible. Keep your eye out for this one!

Lady is a registered Oldenburg mare with Dressage and Jumping lines. Her FEI career was cut short due to an injury. She is am amazing and easy to handle, anyone can ride mare. We are excited to have her in our program to produce Gypsy Sporthose and Warmblood foals.

Bala is a purebred registered Hanovarian mare. She excelled in Dressage and low level jumping before a career ending injury. She has a kind heart and sweet personality. We will be using her to make gorgeous Gypsy Sporthorse foals and in the future breed her back to a Hanovarian approved stallion for some great Dressage horses.
